Daily Journal: Munich, Germany

Munich, Bavaria’s capital, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums. The city is known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration and its beer halls, including the famed Hofbräuhaus, founded in 1589.  Oktoberfest was a bucket list item for me, and I brought it to reality this past September!

Day 2:

Marienplatz, the glockenspiel, Octoberfest during the day, walking around the city
This is the 188th Oktoberfest and is located at Theresienwiese from 9/16 to 10/3. Over 6 million people attend. It is a wonderful atmosphere. People are friendly, fun, and ready to sing and dance together. Munich is a beautiful and very walkable city. The beer here is so much better (IMO) than American brewed beer. Less ingredients and much less bitter. Mmmm 🍻
